Must Have Monday!

I've decided that there's a lot of things that I feel I must have. So why not dedicate a day of blog posts to those things so family and friends can see what I want and get them for me. Or not. But maybe :)

First up, a set of doily melamine plates from fredflare



Gah. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the design of these and that they're melamine. There are a couple ceramic plates that I have that feel like lifting weights when I empty the dishwasher.

Heather of Skinny Laminx just posted this IKEA tea towel in her etsy shop! Don't you love it? I do. And it's inspired me to go to IKEA tomorrow. Sorry Heather that they don't have IKEA's in South Africa!

Since I've been gone

It's so nice to be back. The Atlanta trade show was great, but there's no place like Boston, even though it's 20 degree, and -15 with windchill.

I'm so overwhelmed with inspiration right now. There were so many great artists at the show, doing what they love and love what their doing. I want a part of that. Really bad.

And excitingly enough, I've gotten a request for a logo illustration! I'm not sure of details yet, but it should be lots of fun!

And just so this post has a picture...

I'd like one of each of these outfits please. Thanks.

MIA in ATL

The above picture is where I'm sitting right now.

I'm announcing that I will be MIA probably until Tuesday, as I'm in Atlanta for the Atlanta Giftmart, one of the biggest gift tradeshows in the world. Hopefully I'll get to take lots of pictures, ESPECIALLY of the hotel! I'm staying in a brand new W hotel in Buckhead. Apparently the interiors were designed by Tom from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. My oh my it's beautiful. :)
